It can be viewed along with the September 28, 2010 edition of Dynamite, which will air the night before at the very same location, on HBO Max.
This week’s episode actually couldn’t be more timely for AEW. As AEW All In: London is set to take place at Wembley Stadium, their rivalries are heating up even more. The July 30 Collision card has several matches that are directly related to the fallout from this past week on Dynamite as well as other AEW happenings, providing lots of exciting matches for the fans to tune into.
A highlight is Will Ospreay versus Daniel Garcia, a high-profile singles tussle that has flowed from Ospreay’s shocking departure from the Death Riders, following his cross-country fallout with the former stablemates. Now former partners, it’s a match between Garcia seeking brutal justice for Ospreay’s apostasy, and Ospreay trying to forge a new path.
Meanwhile we will see the eight man tag between Bang Bang Gang and Death Riders, an AEW World Trios title match along with the loaded women’s trios match and Komander taking on Jay Lethal.

Television: TNT

A special Thursday edition of the show this time, not the usual Saturday. According to the official AEW event listing Collision will air after Dynamite in the Detroit back-to-back shows.
Will Ospreay vs. Daniel Garcia
The pay per view singles match between Will Ospreay and Daniel Garcia is in the eye of many the most personal on the card.
Ospreay came into on live tv on Dynamite showing his disdain for the Death Riders. After the group attacked him, Ospreay rejected his Death Riders patch and returned it to Jon Moxley and Hit him with a Hidden Blade. Garcia came at him for a match on Collision.
That’s important, however, because Ospreay is gearing up for a career defining AEW World Championship match with Kenny Omega at All In: London. So Garcia has a chance to show Ospreay exactly what he’s missing.
Their knowledge of each other should result in an interesting physical and technical contest. Both know what the other can do and as such counters and tactics are likely to be playing a part.
Bang Bang Gang vs. Death Riders
Apart from this, one of the highlights of the event is the eight-man tag team match between the Bang Bang Gang and the Death Riders.
Bang Bang Gang lineup including Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson. They will be battling against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & PAC in the Death Riders.
The rivalry between the Bang Bang Gang and the Dogs escalated when the Gang challenged the Dogs to a match using double chains. The Dogs were victorious with help from the Death Riders, so the Bang Bang Gang followed up by asking for a rematch.
This time, one of the matches involves eight-men contenders.
This pairing brings together two very distinct personalities and philosophies in the world of professional wrestling. The Death Riders bring with them a brutal and relentless attitude toward their presentation in the squared circle and in the media. Bang Bang Gang is a shot of adrenaline. They are full of confidence, quickness, and a bloody, “anything can happen,” style.
With so many competitors, the contest could get out of hand very quickly. Much can happen including tags, distractions, outside interference, and momentum shifts.
AEW World Trios Championship Match
Even the AEW World Trios Championship is being defended.
The Demand Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun will defend their titles against The Rascalz Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Myron Reed.
The championship situation turned around just one night earlier when The Demand upset The Conglomeration for the trio titles, meaning they will have an immediate defense of these titles to open their reign.
The Rascalz have yet another reason to be confident, as they defeated The Demand in The Mile High Madness event earlier in the year. If they can do the same again, the AEW titles are theirs!
Sets up an intriguing dynamic here. The Demand is eager to get their reign as champions underway as early as possible, whereas The Rascalz have a good chance of halting the previous victory and clinching the championship.
Athena, Billie Starkz and Diamant vs. Brawling Birds and HAZUKI
On the women’s side, Collision has what promises to be yet another fantastic trios match.
ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, Billie Starkz and Diamant take on Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor of the Brawling Birds and HAZUKI.
There are many narratives to be played out. The Brawling Birds have their beady eyes set on the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, but will have to get through Athena and her faction first.
Including HAZUKI in the mix makes another lethal ingredient. Her alliance with Hayter via STARDOM’s Oedo Tai charter group ensures that these three will be a dynamic trio, and with Athena in the team, the match is sure to be fiercely competitive.
With several skilled wrestlers on the card this matches one of the most intriguing matches of the night.
Kris Statlander Returns to Action
Kris Statlander will also appear on this week’s Collision on 30th of July.
Her comeback to the ring comes after an important event on Dynamite. Statlander made her way back to aid Maya World in successfully retaining the TBS Championship, after the CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone tried to use a kendo stick given to her by Shida.
The rival moment had a personal touch to it since Persephone had previously denied Statlander TBS gold and Survival of the Fittest.
Collision therefore marks a return to action for Statlander for the first time since that brutal loss, only increasing the excitement of her upcoming performance.
Komander vs. Jay Lethal
A singles match also takes place as Komander is set to take on longstanding veteran Jay Lethal.
Komander is coming into the match hot after a great showing against AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley on Dynamite. Although he didn’t come away victorious from the match, the crowd in Detroit gave the match a great response.
Lethal is a whole new challenge. He’s a package of experience, ring smarts and skillful game playing that can test any air punching wrestler.
Komander should take advantage of his quickness and attack with aerial offense, but Lethal might try to keep the match in the mat and slow it down.
Main Storylines to Watch
There are numerous high profile AEW stories going into the 30th July Collision that make it a special occasion.
Most significant is the repercussions of Will Ospreay’s exit from the Death Riders. His bout with Garcia perhaps is a test of if Ospreay can get away from the faction and ready himself for a shot at the AEW World Championship.
The Death Riders are also still to get revenge on Bang Bang Gang so their 8 man tag match is a further major storyline development.
In other news, The Demand start their AEW World Trios Championship reign while under the watchful eyes of The Rascalz.
The women’s trios match also involves a bunch of women with title aspirations and current feuds, not to mention the return of Kris Statlander, who brings another personal element to the show.
What Fans Can Expect
The July 30 AEW Collision’s angle is not a storyline but showdowns since there are titles defending, teams competing, men’s and women’s division action, and one-on-one contendership matches.
Results
On July 30, 2026, AEW Collision gave us a huge night of wrestling from the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, Michigan. The special Thursday night episode had it all including title matches, a handful of big singles bouts, an appearance by the Motor City Machine Guns in AEW for the first time, and booking for Grand Slam Mexico and AEW All In.
It all kicked off with a massive moment for the local audience as the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, made their AEW debut revealing they had signed with the company. So the local appearances instantly had that electric feeling.
Next, The wrestling action really heated up when 7 more matches took place as the top Class AEW World Trios Championship were defended, a huge eight man tag team match, singles competition for Kris Statlander and of course the main event match, Will Ospreay versus Daniel Garcia.
Motor City Machine Guns Join AEW
The most unexpected thing to happen by far began in the very first minute.
When Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin arrived at the Masonic Temple Theater in front of a rabid Detroit crowd, the duo of longtime partners discussed their ties to Detroit. Then they revealed what had been teased all month-and officially became All Elite:
The release felt like a natural fit because Detroit automatically makes people think of the Motor City Machine Guns. Shelley and Sabin addressed how there was no better place for them to kick off the AEW journey than in their current neighborhood, Detroit.
Their debut instantly brings a new talented pair to an already thriving AEW tag team division. With AEW titles on the line in every corner of the promotion this may be the Motor City Machine Guns rule the roost in the tag division.
The Demand Retain the Trios Championship
The match prior to Intermission was a battle for the AEW World Trios Championship. The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun) took on The Rascalz.
With new champions the Rascalz knew they wanted to keep hold of the belts as long as possible. The Rascalz may have only just been crowned, but they defended furiously against the seasoned champions. The Rascalz didn’t slow down as they kept coming, finding new things to put together quickly with controlled teamwork to put the champions in numerous危机.
Ricochet continued to display his high-flying athleticism with an absurd leap over the top rope to the outside of the ring early on in the match. The match was quickly turning into an entertaining fast-paced first match with the Rascalz, other high-flying artists, throwing right back.
Prior to the final bell, The Demand trapped Dezmond Xavier away from the team and executed their finishing maneuver. Bishop Kaun got the pinfall and The Demand held onto the AEW World Trios Championship. Official time 11:26.
Continental Cup Tournament Announced
Furthermore, another important step was the establishment of the AEW Continental Cup.
During his ESPN interview, Tony Schiavone said that the AEW World Title tournament would have 16 competitors in single-elimination. The tournament is set to begin on Collision and finish at AEW All In.
The tournaments was promoted as being based on the FA Cup by England with competitors progressing through rounds. Jon Moxley is also listed as a competitor, further raising the ante as he holds the current Continental Championship.
The announcement closes out AEW’s first half of the year with another huge tournament storylines and gives many wrestlers an opportunity to earn a big world title match.
Tommaso Ciampa Defeats Nick Comoroto
Tommaso Ciampa resumed his current winning streak through a quick singles match against Nick Comoroto.
Ciampa was still feeling the effects of his savage battle with Chris Jericho at Redemption when he stepped into the ring. However, that didn’t stop him from asserting control over his opponent and ultimately flooring Comoroto with a running knee.
The contest was barely over a minute and a half long, but it was enough for Ciampa to get the clear win, showing that he is still determined to make his way up the AEW singles rankings.
His night later took on even greater importance when AEW announced that he would go to battle his former enemy, IMPACT star Andrade El Idolo at Grand Slam in Mexico, with a Casino Gauntlet shot on the line at All In.
Brawling Birds and Hazuki Win
We had the womens trios match of Jamie Hayter/Alex Windsor/ HAZUKI versus Athena/Billie starkz/Diamant,
The reason this match was so hyped was because it pitted notable names from both AEW and ROH, with Athena providing senior championship experience on her team.
In the end, Hayter, Windsor and HAZUKI were able to get the win over Two Birds One Stone. The match was nearly 12 minutes long and yet another excellent display from the AEW women’s division.
Following the match, the Brawling Birds were the victims of Divine Dominion, as their members, Lena Kross and Megan Bayne, assaulted the new tag team champions. Right away, this opened up another element to the women’s tag team storyline, as well as added more to Hayter and Windsor’s issue.
Hangman Page Plans for Grand Slam Mexico
There was also another important story involving “Hangman” Adam Page.
Page was the one who decided to align himself with Brody King and Bandido by agreeing to a match against them for the AEW World Trios title at Grand Slam Mexico.
Bandido made a humorous attempt to break the tension at the start of the serious championship talk, by coming up with the title The Good, The Bad and The Ugly for the group. Brody King then asked which of the three was “The Ugly” as Bandido and Page turned to look at each other in fun and surprised anticipation.
The Demand then answered the challenge by positioning a significant Trios title contest for Grand Slam Mexico.
Bang Bang Gang Defeat Death Riders
Night’s biggest bout The Bang Bang Gang – Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and Ace Austin – took down the Death Riders.
As Death Riders,Moxley,Castagnoli,Yuta, and PAC formed a dominant four man team.
Ultimately, the game was over when The Bang Bang Gang took the pin with an O’Connor Roll.
Unfortunately, the excitement was short lived.
The newly arrived team of Clark Connors and David Finlay, The Dogs, joined the attack on the Bang Bang Gang following the match but the Motor City Machine Guns (Mach and Ranie) ran down to help out. Their aid gave the new team instant credibility and helped them create one more tremendous moment for the Detroit crowd.
Kris Statlander Sends a Message
Kris Statlander got back to singles action against Aurora Teves. The match didn’t last long, as K. Statlander took out Arora.
Statlander’s endgame was Saturday Night Fever where she took the win in 89 seconds.
Next, Statlander focused on CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone, challenging her to a match at Grand Slam Mexico to carry on a fight that had become quite personal following the champion’s involvement in Statlander’s TBS Championship loss.
Another significant women’s singles match has been added to AEW’s soon-to-come Mexico event in this challenge.
Komander Defeats Jay Lethal
Komander in his first singles match of the night defeated the experienced Jay Lethal.
This provided Komander with a great opportunity to display his high-flying style against Lethal’s experience and technical skill. Komander completed victory with Cielito Lindo.
His win also had direct implications for the future. It was announced that Komander was to be another participant in the next match to involved Tommaso Ciampa and Andrade El Idolo, the winner would get the first entrant spot in the Casino Gauntlet, at All In.
Will Ospreay Defeats Daniel Garcia
The center piece to the main card was one of the most anticipated matches of the whole of the night as Will Ospreay took on Daniel Garcia.
The contest was directly related to Ospreay’s recent departure from the Death Riders. Garcia had issued a challenge to Ospreay after they came to blows on Dynamite, adding a personal touch to the proceedings.
Once again, Garcia looked technically amazing, forcing Ospreay to fight through submissions and dangerous counters. Finally Ospreay prevailed with the Hidden Blade to pick up the win.
The time worked out to be around 13 minutes and 14 seconds for the match.
Mark Davis Attacks Will Ospreay
Ospreay’s celebration was cut short after that match.
Davis hit the Ospreay with a headbutt. This led to a wild melee which broke out, including Ospreay, Rocky Romero and Rickey. The melee moved to the crowd where Mark Davis took the Ospreay.
Eventually Ospreay was caught and hit with a piledriver on the floor. The beatdown persisted with the chair before Ospreay foughtback to scatter them.
Rather than withdraw, Ospreay is calling out Davis to a Mexico City Street Fight at Grand Slam Mexico. The bout was made official, and their war has even more danger added to it.
Kyle Fletcher and Mike Bailey Continue Their Rivalry
4. One further turn of events took place backstage, and involved a confrontation between Kyle Fletcher and Mike Bailey.
Bailey informed Fletcher that he was looking for a fight but wants to do so in the ring without the Don Callis Family getting involved. Fletcher fulfilled the request by booting Bailey in the face.
Bailey is on top and causes Fletcher to escape! With Bailey and Fletcher set for an International Championship match, the encounter adds yet another twist to this complicated rivalry.

The continental cup also gives AEW another tournament storyline that will run towards All In.
